"The way we breathe has gotten markedly worse since the dawn of the insustrial age - 90 percent of us, likely me, you, and almost everyone you know - is breathing incorrectly, and this failure is either causing, or aggravating a laundry list of chronic diseases. Changing how we breathe will help us live longer healthier lives"
The problem with breathing information
All the breathing blogs, books, and podcasts I have come accross, are 'guilty' of the same 'error'. They focus on information, rather than on implementation, or they focus only on the practice, with very little room for important information.
Information is great, because without it, you don't know how you might be able to change or why you should be interested in breathwork in the first place. But information alone doesn't lead to you changing your behavior because when you have to take that next step: actually just do it, you are left to your own devices.
The reverse is true in the breathwork practice world. Many practices are thaught without proper information on what a specific practice does, whom it is for, and why you should or should not do it. Practice without information can lead you to have a suboptimal experience, feeling overloaded with options, and can sometimes even be dangerous.
This is where I come in. The focus of everything I do, is on bridging knowledge and practice, by combining science insights with easy to follow practices that will help you implement the change you want.
